Date Balls Recipe

These little babies are seriously yummy! Everyone who has tried them has totally fallen in love with them completely! So, I thought I would share the recipe with you all!

 

Sonja’s dateballs

Ingredients:

500g chopped dates
1/2 cup boiling water
1/2 cup rice bran spread
2 T honey
1 packet ‘Nice’ biscuits, crushed.
125g coconut. (Approximately)

Method:

Melt rice bran spread in water in a pot on the stovetop.
Add honey, stir until dissolved.
Add dates, boil until soft.
Cool down, add crushed biscuits.
Form into balls, rolling them in the coconut.
Can be put into the fridge to firm up.

This recipe can be frozen.
