I just wanted to share one of my favourite apple crumble recipies with you all! I am making one as we speak, although, mine has a little pear added as I had some pears that were on the verge of becoming that little bit softer than perfect 😉
5 large apples (1kg)
¼ Cup caster sugar
¼ Cup water
½ Cup self-raising flour
¼ Cup plain flour
½ Cup brown sugar
100g cold butter, chopped
1 t cinnamon
Preheat oven to 180. Grease deep 1.5-litre baking dish.
Peel, core, and quarter apples. Combine apple, sugar, and the water in large saucepan, cook over low heat, covered, about 10 minutes. Drain, discard liquid.
Meanwhile, make crumble.
Blend or process ingredients until combined.
Place apples in dish; sprinkle with crumble. Bake about 25 minutes.
Enjoy..picture to follow later!
