Summer Sewing!

Standard

Hi Everyone!

I know it has been months since I have blogged and there are a couple of reasons for that. Firstly, it’s been a very busy couple of months and I have simply just been too busy to sit down and blog. And secondly I wasn’t able to access my blog for a while. I then tried accessing it from a different browser and BOOM, it works. I am not sure why but I am not complaining!

Since you have heard from me last I have been doing A LOT of sewing! The living area is constantly strewn threads and bits of fabric and measuring tapes etc. I have been selling nearly all my skirts on the first auction so I am really happy about that. It’s nice to know that somewhere in NZ there are ladies who are wearing my skirts. I never cease to marvel that people like these maxi skirts so much as they seem very plain to me if my customers like them that is all that matters. I thought I would share some photos with you of the skirts I have been sewing since I have last blogged.

I just love the colours in this fabric.

This may look like denim but it is actually a delicious cotton!

Within two hours of my listing it this one had bids on it.

I love this one because it has proteas on it! And the fabric is deliciously soft!

This one is a size 26+ and it’s the first plus size, full length patchwork skirt I have made. It took a while but I like the end result.

Take care everyone!
